CarTest 2000 can appear in a user-selected look and feel. Slight differences in the way the frames
appear and response to user inputs mark each of these environments. At left is the Metal or Cross-Platform Look and Feel.
There is also a Look and Feel for Mac Users. CarTest 2000 now uses the new 'Ocean' Java look and feel.

Shown here is the familiar Windows Look and Feel.

You can work with many cars at the same time. Simply select multiple cars and click on the window for the car you want to bring forward.
|
|
When you have many windows on the screen at the same time CarTest
can tile them all to help you see what you have going on. You can also iconify
and deiconify windows to assist with screen space management.

|
Adding cars is easy and can be done using whatever units your data is listed.
Adding data for several cars at once is facilitated by using many 'Add Car' windows on the screen at the same time. Use the on-line calculator
for any calculations required for data entry.
|
|
For data analysis functions or comparison tests, select cars from the list of cars in the data base using the familiar mouse
click for one car, SHIFT+click for a range of cars, and Ctrl+click for additional individual car selections.
Double click on a car to work with that car immediately. Click on the list to select it, then key any letter of the alphabet to bring
cars starting with that letter to the top of the scrollable window.

All of the images shown in this tour were captured at 1600x1200 resolution. However, CarTest looks quite similar at other resolutions
down to 1024x768. Below that there is simply not enough screen "real estate" to properly display the volume of data that must
be shown. This image is the acceleration screen shown at 1024x768.
