Checks Portfolio Optimization

Checkbook:

Allows you to maintain checking accounts and records. You may open, close, and rename accounts. Work with account functions include check writing, remembering frequently written checks, entering account activity (including deposits, funds transfers, fees charged, and interest earned) examining/correcting the check register, reconciling your account balance, printing checks, listing the check register, and maintaining a list of check "Pay to" addresses.

Credit Cards:

Allows you to maintain a ledger of transactions on your credit cards. You may open, close, and rename credit card accounts. Work with account functions include entering, examining, correcting, and printing various types of credit card transactions.

Pie Chart

Budget:

Allows you to maintain budget categories and target budget amounts for each category. You can allocate checks written and/or credit cards charged to these categories either manually or automatically by defining relationships between expenses and budget categories. Bar graphs, pie charts, and various reports comparing budgeted amounts to actual expenditures and/or income can be produced. Budget menu functions also can help you estimate your tax liability and produce capital gains/losses reports to assist with tax preparation.

Financial Assets:

Allows you to keep track of your financial assets including financial assets, real estate, automobiles, personal property, loans, etc. Financial assets are separated into ten classes including money funds, bonds, stocks, international holdings, and investment hedges. These category divisions allow an assessment of portfolio diversification for comparison with a computed optimal allocation. Functions are provided for assessing the performance of your financial investments by computing actual interest rates and yields returned. Financial performance can be displayed with graphics plots and bar charts in addition to numerous printable reports.

Utilities:

Among the functions provided in the menu are functions for reforming the data files maintained by FinanceMaster and printing all of the help screens. The time of day clock may also be activated or deactivated here. The budget data can also be reset and restarted. The number of lines per printed page for reports can also be set here.
