Utility functions include a unique on-line calculator with r, x, y, z, and t registers. Perform calculations and use the
cut, copy, and paste functions to move the results to data entry fields. The About window displays some useful system information.
A handy conversion calculator helps with data values known in different units.

Frequently needed aeronautical calculations can be done easily. Functions are provided for:
- Flight Management - time, speed, distance, and/or fuel flow and fuel amount.
- Wind Correction - classic wind triangle calculation.
- General Weight and Balance.
- Rate of Climb - calculated from true air speed, desired elevation
change, and distance over which the climb is to take place.
- True Air Speed - from pressure altitude, calibrated airspeed, and indicated air temperature, the
true air speed, mach number, and density altitude are calculated accounting for
the compressibility effects of high-speed flight.
- Density Altitude - the altitude at which this air density will be
found in the 1976 International Standard Atmosphere.
- Cross Winds - headwind and crosswind components.
- Sunrise/Sunset - from location, the time of sunrise and sunset is given.
- Average Wind - weighted vector sum of individual wind components.
- Freezing Levels - wet and dry freezing altitudes.
- Rhumbline Navigation - heading and distance between two points.
- Great Circle Navigation - heading and distance between two points.
- Turn Performance - g-force, turn radius and time, turn stall speed.
- Magnetic Variation - the IGRF2000 estimate of the magnetic variation at a location.
